RHESUS FACTOR
The Rhesus factor (Rh factor) is a protein found on red blood cells.
About 85% of people have it (Rh-positive), and
15% don't (Rh-negative).
It's important because Rh-negative people cannot safely receive Rh-positive blood, and an Rh-negative mother with an Rh-positive baby can face serious pregnancy complications if not managed.
